Johnny Depp Faces Allegations of Manipulating Evidence in Defamation Trial
Johnny Depp is once again at the center of controversy as newly unsealed court documents suggest that evidence he submitted during his defamation trial against Amber Heard may have been altered.
According to The Daily Beast, the metadata of photos and audio recordings presented by Depp’s legal team reportedly show signs of manipulation, sparking renewed debate over the high-profile case.
Allegations of Tampered Evidence
Documents reveal that Amber Heard’s legal team questioned the authenticity of Depp’s evidence, claiming that:
🔹 Photos of Depp’s bruises had “Created and Modified” dates years after the alleged incidents.
🔹 Audio recordings were originally created in 2015 but modified multiple times, including just one day before they were submitted in court.
These revelations have led to a wave of online backlash against Depp, with hashtags like #JohnnyDeppIsALiar and #AmberHeardDeservesAnApology trending across social media.
Amber Heard Was Also Accused of Editing Evidence
This is not the first time photo manipulation has been brought up in the legal battle. During the trial, Depp’s attorney, Camille Vasquez, accused Heard of altering her own photo evidence to make her injuries appear more severe.
📸 A forensic analysis of the images shared online suggested that two of Heard’s injury photos were identical, except for adjustments in lighting and color enhancement.
Despite Heard’s denial, fans and forensic experts pointed out that the shadows and facial details in both images were identical, suggesting that one had been digitally altered.
The Controversy Continues
As of now, neither Depp nor Heard has publicly addressed these new allegations regarding the recently unsealed documents. However, the ongoing debate over manipulated evidence continues to fuel the public’s divided opinion on one of Hollywood’s most controversial legal battles.
