Aaron Goodwin and the “Ghost Adventures” crew were in the midst of filming a lockdown investigation in Los Angeles when police called to deliver some shocking news. According to production sources, Goodwin received a call on camera informing him that his wife, Victoria Goodwin, had been arrested in connection with a murder-for-hire plot.
The police explained that Victoria had been booked on charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder. During the call—captured on the show’s footage—Goodwin was informed that Victoria had been messaging with a Florida inmate about getting out of their marriage. In one particularly chilling message, she reportedly asked, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.” The plot allegedly involved more than $11,000 earmarked for hiring someone to kill Aaron.
Authorities discovered the scheme when they found a contraband phone belonging to the inmate, Grant Amato, who is currently serving time for the murders of his mother, father, and brother. While Zak Bagans, the creative lead of “Ghost Adventures,” is reviewing the footage and will consult with the network, it remains undecided whether this dramatic phone call will appear in an upcoming season of the show, set to premiere next month.
Victoria Goodwin has denied any intention of having her husband killed. For now, the harrowing moment captured on camera remains a behind-the-scenes secret, one that could become one of the most unforgettable—and unsettling—instances in the history of “Ghost Adventures.”
