Emily Osment Files for Divorce from Husband Jack Anthony After Just Five Months
Emily Osment and Jack Anthony are calling it quits just five months after tying the knot.
The Hannah Montana alum filed for divorce from Anthony—whose real name is Jack Farina—on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple, who wed on October 12, 2024, barely made it to their five-month anniversary before deciding to part ways. Osment listed their date of separation as December 7, 2024—meaning their marriage began unraveling less than two months in.
Court documents confirm the couple had a prenup in place, and they do not share any children.
While it’s unclear exactly when their relationship began, Jack proposed in 2023, so they’ve been together for a while. However, it seems marriage just wasn’t meant to be for the two.
Osment, best known for playing Lilly Truscott on Hannah Montana, has continued her acting career with roles in Young Sheldon and its spinoff Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. Addressing the split, she told TMZ, “I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn’t work out.”
While it’s a short-lived love story, it looks like both are ready to move forward.
